Young Tinker Club

Young Tinker Club

A global community of doers.

Two volunteers and three children building wheeled rovers together at a workbench

People who solve problems, serve others, volunteer their time, and lead meaningful change — in classrooms, workshops and communities, anywhere in the world. Every club runs on one idea: give young people a problem, the tools, and the confidence to tinker their way to a solution.

Two ways to belong

Campus

College and university students who run sessions at schools, mentor online, or build kits.

Community

Professionals, educators and adults who mentor cohorts, train teachers, host build days, or support school labs.

How a club gets started

1Apply on your own or with a few people who are in.
2A named officer picks it up and checks the basics.
3The club is chartered, and gets its code and its toolkit.
4Invite your members and run the first session.

The whole sequence, and who does which part

Young Tinker, around the world

Every place we work carries a location code built from its own coordinates — the same system across Tinker on Wheels, Young Tinker Spaces, Teacher of Practice and the clubs.

Drag to spin the globe.

Join a club

First, who you are. This makes your account — it does not put you in a club. A club decides that, and you ask them in a moment.

If you use one

It decides which clubs you can join or start, and what consent is needed

We send six digits here to check it is yours
